In a world that praises the photoshopped and perpetuates ‘perfection’, the inspiration behind “Photograff” was to preserve the raw and the real because thats where the true beauty lies. All the images are unfiltered and unaltered, with absolutely no retouching or digital enhancements. Captured mainly with a Mamiya c330 on 120mm or 4x5 film by Monica Alonso, she developed, enlarged,and created the gelatin silver prints. Fernando Carlo also known as COPE2, then hand embellished them with his legendary NYC graffiti style to make each photo 100% original with no two pieces the same.
